Exhibition Aug.12 to Dec. 3/23
Cities in Flux is a wide-ranging exploration of the city told through a selection of 100 photographs from the AGO Collection. Highlighting various economic, political and cultural realities underpinning the urban experience, the exhibition showcases photographs, post cards and albums – many on view for first time - made since 1850. Cities in Flux invites us to consider cities and the role of images in their growth and evolution.

Toronto Heritage Book Award
Book Award
My recent book, Accidental Wilderness, co-authored with Walter Kehm was recently awarded this honor.
"The Spit is miraculous and amazing, growing out of Toronto like a volcanic island. Accidental Wilderness is a stunningly beautiful and hopeful book that captures with writing that is both technical and romantic the story of how the Spit came to be and what it almost was if not for the interventions of the people who protected it." Shawn Micaleff, Spacing Magazine
